In this hour, the cry on the heart of God’s people is to REPENT for our sins before our most High God and to CRY OUT to Him for mercy!
Again and again and again . . . in countless email messages, conferences, prophetic decrees and prayer gatherings, the CRY OF REPENTANCE is resonating across our land . . . and now across the nations, as well.
In the Book of Nehemiah, Chapter Nine, we witness a similar time in the history of Israel, when the hearts of God’s people were GRIPPED in grief for the sins of their land. In the course of this entire chapter of the Word of God, again and again and again, we see the cries of a repentant people, asking for mercy before our Lord.
And, in the end, in verse 38, a decree was established:
It is written: “Now because of all this we are making an agreement in writing; and on the sealed document are the names of our leaders, our Levites and our priests.” (Nehemiah 9:38)
This Prayer of Repentance is our own opportunity, in this day and age, to be obedient to this mandate of Scripture.
On this site and by means of this prayer, we invite “our leaders, our Levites and our priests” to come together in the place of UNITY, and to enact a “written decree” that, having repented before the Lord, we now establish a COVENANT of OBEDIENCE
to the instructions given in Scripture . . . that we might “walk in God’s Law and do all the commandments of the Lord” (Nehemiah 10:29) and that we might “live sensibly, righteously and godly in the present age,” according to Titus 2:12.
